 When I was growing up, the Sacrament of Reconciliation was simply called Confession. Years later I realized something had changed—not only the name, but the Church's emphasis. The word reconciliation suggested something much deeper than simply listing sins and receiving absolution. But I wasn't sure I understood what it really meant.

My July contribution to Those Who Mourn Magazine shares a deeply personal guided meditation that became an unexpected source of healing in my own grief journey.

Because of the profound grace I experienced through this prayer, I felt called to share it with others in the hope that it may offer comfort, healing, and a renewed awareness of God's loving presence to those who are grieving.
